Jonna… A farewell in the making.

From the darkness rises Jonna!

It’s been a long time since the first chance I had to raise a camera to the amazingly stunning Jonna. I was freshly settled in to the very first FotoEnvy studio, I had a fancy camera that I finally getting used to and I was eager to work with models that had experience. I do a lot of work with new models, models who haven’t yet had the chance to work with great photographers and soak up the needed information in order to bring a truly great experience to the scene. I’m not saying new models are bad or won’t give you killer images, the opposite actually in both those points, but an experienced model brings a new level to the playing field. When it comes to posing, concept visualization and continuing the flow of a shoot an experienced model brings that to the table and helps make it easier on the photographer. Jonna, I believe, was my first of this category of model.

About a week or so ago I heard that Jonna was packing up and heading far away from me so I rushed in to make sure her and I had a shoot or more before her final farewell. This was one of those shoots and all I can say is that we definitely had a blast and I’m going to miss this girl when she leaves. Jonna is definitely an amazing person, a wonderful model and a great friend. I wish you the best of luck in your career and take care of things for me in Massachusetts!

I’ve been working on a series with models wearing simple black and distressed panty-hose. I had to make sure Jonna made it into this set so I grabbed a pair of hosiery off the clothing rack in the studio, tossed it her way and told her to get ready to be cold. Yes, I froze another model and I would guess that the evil people at PETA would be pissed if they cared about humans as much as they do pets… I think? We arrived at the location ready to rock and roll, set up quick and shot continuously for about an hour or so. It was great coming back to this spot, even though it had been so soon. Definitely a creepy place and definitely will be back!

Thank you again Ms Jonna for rocking the modeling for me so my camera could work a little easier. Can’t wait to see to you again and I have to admit it was fun seeing a different asian model eat out of candy dish yesterday. Off to more editing for me and hope you enjoyed all the fun here. Buahaha!
