As the temperature continues to drop I’m more inclined to actually use the studio. Today was one of those instances where I would rather not freeze my model so we can both smile during the shoot.
Jennifer came back to pick up her images, which she forgot, and we planned on doing another shoot with silver after she saw our shoot with Ashley Pham and the gold foil. What better day than today, so I gloved up and began to glue extremely thin and delicate pieces of silver foil to her bare body.
An hour of makeup time and we were ready to rock and roll. I knew I had to do something completely different with this shoot versus the one featuring Ashley and the amazing gold foil we did last week. We decided to run it as an Ice Queen style shoot knowing that the silver, blue gels and harder light would be perfect. We hammered out many different looks in an hour or so and after a good cheer I sat down and began to edit away.
It doesn’t take long for me to get the editing system down for a shoot especially when have an idea to work from. I had some presets I’ve created just for this look and they worked out just fine and dandy. I decided they needed a finishing touch in Perfect Photo Suite 6 so I found a good mix of grain and sharpening that really made them stand out. Almost like Mr. Freeze in the awful Clooney Batman & Robin.
As always Ms Jennifer was amazing to work with and she was extremely excited to shoot again after our major success the other day. I love working off the positive vibes so I tend to try to get a model right back into the studio after a very successful shoot to reuse the chemistry we had and add to it. Big thanks to Kyle again for helping with lights and running around for me. I get so needy sometimes, but it helps keep me focused on the main goal which is a quick and painless, usually, shoot that flows from beginning to end.
Time to sit down and get some wedding images done so they can be shipped out. I love that I can finally photograph models again with my mind working since it really helps break up the monotonous editing of a wedding and just to break up the day filled with paper work and phone calls.
Till my next adventure, I will see you all later!

You are really an artist … wonderful picuters and a wonderful model.
