A little over a month ago I had a double shoot day with two completely different models and I’m slowly catching up to the bag log of goodness so I’d like to share the second of the two shoots with you today.
Samantha came all the way out from Chicago to spend a few hours running around this crazy town with the likes of myself and my camera. We had a very basic idea of what we were going to shoot and not too much time because the light was falling soon. Samantha came prepared with a bag of clothes and goodies and we quickly picked out two really strong outfits to work with as well as a little prop I had picked up a long while back and saved for a special shoot.
We went to a nearby location in order to cut down on significant light loss and quickly began to get the scene ready and shot. Samantha is an amazing model, with tons of natural talent and her most amazing ability is her understanding of how her body looks and can pose easily and stay posed for a good length of time. We honestly spent an unhealthy amount of time in one pose and she didn’t even flinch. I’m definitely saving her contact info in my “Rock Hard” model book that way when I need phenomenal talent I know exactly who to call.
You can check out her other work on model mayhem in case you’re in need of someone awesome to shoot with.
Major props to Kyle Wilson for help on the lighting side and of course for his goofiness to keep things interesting! This style of shoot wasn’t my norm, but I love to work outside the box and push myself to do things that I haven’t done. Without constant learning and trial and error we would become just another forgotten bunch. Keeping things new keeps us going and people watching our progress.
