Mr Kyle Wilson decided to be kind enough to bring me along to his shoot and let me help with posing and styling as well as getting to snap a few shots. Our day started with a crazy shopping spree that started at Gordmans then a short stay at Target that moved quickly to TJ Maxx, where at least 5 women all commented on how amazing the outfits were that I had picked out, and a final stop at Burlington Coat Factory for a few necessary pieces.
After shopping we hit the road for some shooting! This was our models first time in front of the camera so we had to go slow and explain a lot of the fundamental posing and mechanics behind a good look. Cindi took on quickly and after a few minutes we were rocking away and capturing fun stuff.
The one thing about shooting with Kyle and I is that we are way too similar and full of more sass than a 6 year old girl. It definitely makes for strange times but tons of uncontrollable laughter that can be heard for miles.
We moved to another location, changed outfits and had a blast snapping away gleefully till we froze the model solid and we had to defrost her and grab dinner. In case you haven’t gone to Spider Sushi you really need to go! Such yummy food and something even Kyle liked plus a bunch of sake definitely finished the evening off well. The drive home was filled with a little more crazy conversation then sadly we had to depart from our amazing model.
Great day in all and I can’t remember a Thursday that was so long but filled with such a great mix of people and photography. If only we had a tape recorder for all the great things we talked about. Enjoy the pics and stay tuned for another chapter in my shooting life!
