The Coronado meets the fabulous Jonna

Ahh the Coronado Theater, a long time monument in this dreary city of Rockford. Today it became the backdrop to yet another amazing shoot with my long time model and friend Jonna. I rented out the space for a 3 hour slot in the middle of day to do a couple of shoots including this one. After taking the tour of the building with the very nice staff I had my mind locked in on a few different locations that seemed perfect for the looks I needed in my port.

It didn’t take long to get things in motion with the help of our newest personnel addition, Mr Yunkin. We had lighting in place and camera firing image after image with kick ass results. I dreamt of imagery that was dark yet serene and lighting that was placed perfectly and not all over the scene since the natural look of the room had to shine. We were all so pleased by the look of the first images and we kept firing away and moving from location to location while laughing and smiling the whole time.

I can’t thank the team enough today for being so rock solid. Jonna is always a gem in front of the camera and Yunkin was on the ball all day with lights and getting gear ready. Sadly this blog post will be slightly short because I’ve got way too much editing to do and friends I have to see tonight, but the images speak for themselves.
